About Us

The story of Liberus started in January 2015 with Liber+ magazine. The magazine, which started its publishing life within the 3H Movement, evolved into publishing with Bastiat’s What is Seen and What is not Seen? book a year later. In 2019, the name of the publishing house, which left the association and became a company, changed to Liberus in April 2019.

Liberus adopts an approach that is productive and contributes to the literature instead of the vicious debates that have been going on for years. It aims to contribute to intellectual production and increase interaction between intellectuals.

Over the years, it has sought to popularise history and science books alongside libertarian thinkers such as Adam Smith, Frederic Bastiat and John Locke.

Liberus is the spirit of the time. It was born as a reaction to the ongoing spirit summoning rituals of the freethinkers in Turkey.
